College Park proposal for annexation of our community

See the chart of projected impact on property taxes, by address. This shows the potential impact of annexation on our property taxes. This report was prepared on an assessments database as of 15 May 2005. For more information about the services provided by the City of College Park, see their website at http://www.ci.college-park.md.us/ or review the weekly Gazette newspaper.

Town Hall Meeting / La Asemblea

The Town Hall Meeting with Councilman Will Campos is scheduled for this Thursday July 21, 2005, 7-9 p.m. in the auditorium at the National Archives at College Park, 8601 Adelphi Road.

In addition to Mr. Campos, those in attendance to address your questions will be Bea Tignor, the Chairwoman of the Prince George's Board of Education, who will give an update on the site selection process for the new high school, as well as representatives from Public Works (to address road problems), Department of Environmental Resources (to address code enforcement problems), the State's Attorney's Office, and representatives from the County Police Department.

General Membership Meeting

CSTCA General Membership Meeting: Saturday, 16 July 2005

The next Cool Spring Terrace Civic Association meeting is Saturday, 16 July 2005, 1-3 p.m. in Lecture Room B, National Archives at College Park. A picture ID is required to enter the building. Topics will be

  • Discussion of the College Park proposal for annexation of our community.
  • Planning for appeal hearing on Cool Spring Forest.
  • Representative from the office of Councilman Will Campos (District 2, Prince George's County) will be in attendance to provide a legislative update.

General membership meetings of the CSTCA occur on the third (3rd) Saturday of each month.
